Cann't see the leaves

This spring when we put in the new patio and took out the tree that was leaning on the garage - we put in two ginkgo trees.  I know you are supposed to plant native trees but I always loved the leaves of the tree and was pleased when the landscape person suggested two of them.

I was surprised that the tree dropped all its leaves in one day versus the other trees on the block taking weeks.

But I can no longer enjoy them on the ground since they are now covered in snow.

Ginkgo trees are among the oldest species in the world. They are glorious when the leaves turn yellow, but you must be sure to be home that day!
