The Picture on My Wall

I have this picture of my Grandmothers family on the wall of one of my rooms but I needed help sorting out who was who.

What always intrigued me about this picture is that her father is included in the picture even though he had died at this time.  My understanding is that it was not uncommon to have someone stand in then to past a picture over the face.

From left to right of the Yannello's:
Joe, Paul, Jimmy, Bill, Margaret (the mother), Luigi (the father), Pauline (my grandmother), Grace, Carrie and Theresa.

Thinking of Warmer Weather and Babys

Since It is still too cold to go out and unbury ourselves from yesterdays snow - I thought I would finally publish pictures of the baby blanket I delivered to Arizona in December.

The first is my nephew Chris with the new blanket for his soon to be delivered daughter.

Next is a "blurry" picture of the "big sister" testing out the new blanket.

Next is a closeup of the blanket.   Unfortunately I didn't take it in very good light so the colors are not very true since the weft color was a very pale blue.

I was able to deliver it before my latest grand-niece, Nora James Lolli was born on December 28.
