2014.11.04 No Longer All the Pictures

OK - I admit defeat.  NO WAY can I scan all the pictures.  Perfect example.  Here is the official wedding photograph of my cousin Rosie's wedding.

My mom was maid of honor and I believe that is her brother John as best man.

I have about 10 snapshots also of the wedding but they are not very good (taken too far away and faded), so I am planning on just labeling and filing them (who knows - I may eventually toss them - THERE IS TOO MUCH STUFF!)

2014.11.03 Need Some Help on This One

I am assuming this is a wedding on the Lungaro side of the family.  The only one I recognize is my Aunt Louise (Louise Lolli Rush) who is the second from the right.  She was my dads only sister.

Do any of my Ohio relatives recognize the others?

2014.11.02 Mom and Dad

Since yesterday I did my mom, I thought I would so my mom and dad today.

The first is likely before they were married.  The second after since I see he is wearing a wedding ring.

I do not know where the picture below was taken but the one on the right below is in a folder that says 

"Souvenir from The Blackhawk Restaurant, Randolph at Wabash, Chicago.  They lived in Chicago for a while after they were married.

2014.11.01 15 Years Ago Today

My mother died 15 years ago today so I thought I would feature pictures of her that I have recently found.

I assume the next two pictures were taken by my father when he was studying photography in Chicago after the war.

The next two are two small pictures and I do not know the locale.

I am guessing the next picture might have been a class picture since it is the size you get from school.

The following pictures are fun - I found these small pictures in a letter from sent to my mom from a friend of hers named Jean who lived in Hamilton, Ohio.  She talked about returning the pictures she was sent.  I assume they were taken in one of those old photo booths. 

2014.10.31 Trying to Do More Than One a Day

Todays 2 pictures are related and are for my cousin Margaret who is currently living in Spain and has been helping me identify some of my unknown relatives on my mothers side.

But I know who these pictures are - they are her parents - my Aunt Theresa and Sam.

 Followed by one with her wedding party, my mom's first cousin Rose and her husband Joe.
